Jaime, a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, is a Pacific Northwest native with a background in healthcare and a deep passion for serving others. She found her calling in the funeral industry, recognizing it as a meaningful way to care for people during one of life’s most vulnerable moments. Jaime noticed a gap between healthcare and the support families receive after the loss of a loved one, inspiring her to help bridge that disconnect through compassionate, thoughtful service.
She graduated from Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor, where she developed strong ties to the local community. Jaime later earned her degree in Mortuary Science from Lake Washington Institute of Technology in 2023. Her favorite part about working at Haven of Rest is the opportunity to support families throughout the entire process following a loved one’s passing. Outside of work, Jaime is a homebody who enjoys cooking and spending time with her cats, Newt and Cassius.
